in the middle of reading ART MUSEUM IN PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil by Alvaro Siva in AR Sept 2008 issue....and remember this....
....was on d way to send my 2nd daughter to her college dorm in jalan temerloh and saw this portrait exhibition by school kids is going on at the national art gallery...went around and make a point to a u-turn to come back and visit the exhibition and other shows as well...all i want to say is the hellical or rather roundish ramp that goes from one floor to other floor where it is supposed to be slow progressing climb to upper floors but rather just tiring to walk for so long at almost 2 rounds before u could reach next floor...what a waste...last time we were there, they have these art pieces along the ramp and this makes u less tired and should be the way it is but i hope that this is the intention of the architect but at the same time i guess not because there is no specific wall to hang the art piece and the ramp is to me not wide enough....to make things worse is that after travelling hoping that there is something on the next floor to find out that the floor is closed and there it was a red tiger tape not allowing you to go in...paiseh...put it at the early part so that we know that there is nothing up there...no wonder i see not many people around considering this is the way things are going on at the gallery...i was closed and thankfull to the gallery that they have allowed me to follow my third daughter around for her project of the TALES OF THE TWO VIEWS by the gallery sometimes back....
